Summary:And then I go on to talk about the product here. This is just a sample by the way! I'm not rating smackers lip gloss. I'm just going to go on and explain how I judge my make-up based on the points given above.
User Friendly: This relates as to
how easy the product is to use. For example, if an eyeshadow takes me a year and a half to open the container, and I have a lot problems putting it on, I'm going to give it a very low rating. This also applies to products that spill everywhere (certain powders for example), or take a very long time to put on or use properly. High-ratings go to products that let you put it on either quickly and are easily applied.
How it looks: Obviously how it looks. I will consider
how it looks right after I put it on and after some time. Just because an eyeliner looks nice right after it's applied, doesn't mean it'll get high points if it gives me panda eyes an hour later. Make-up should look good for at least half-a-day, so the points go up if it stays bright and in place from morning to afternoon.
How it feels: This is an important part of choosing your make-up. They might say that beauty comes with pain, but with make-up nowadays, this definitely shouldn't be the case. Foundation shouldn't feel like it's caked on your face, mascara shouldn't make your eyes water, and lip stick shouldn't feel like it's drying your lips out. I give points if make-up is hydrating (foundation, lipgloss, lipbalm) or you can't feel it there at all, but you can see it. While you want to look good,
you also want to consider how good the make-up makes your skin/lips feel.
Thanks for reading and I hope my reviews help you out in the future!
